Kevin Brown -
Director
When not volunteering his time and talents with various area not-for-profits or working with the Palmer City Council, Kevin owns and manages StrangeBird Consulting in Downtown Palmer – where he provides computer training courses as well as graphic design and advertising campaign services. When forced to take time off from working or volunteering, Kevin enjoys fishing, gardening, cooking (especially the fish along with bits of the garden), wine making, and the occasional glacier hike (because he needs at least one hobby that doesn’t involve food on some level). Kevin moved to Alaska in 2006 with two cats and a hamster. Oh, and with the love of his life - who by the way objects to being listed after the hamster in these bios. The family has since grown to include two guinea pigs, a lizard, and a former sled dog named Eddie. If you stop by Kevin’s office in Palmer, chances are you will be greeted at the door by Eddie, and Kevin will try not to take it personally that you will say “Hi” to the dog before him. |
