Recycling Curriculum Kit (5 - 90 min. lesson plans)

VCRS offers for loan a 5-day recycling curriculum kit developed to teach 4th through 8th graders*. This curriculum meets Alaska state standards in several subjects. The Kit covers the cycle of resources from their virgin state to their endless potential, and teaches the challenges related to burying our waste resources.

Recycling Center Tours & Field Trips

Bring your class or group to visit the recycling center. See how the recycling center operates and learn where resources come from, what they are made into, both as virgin resources and recovered resources.
