Empty cans of contents. Be careful
not to mix with steel cans!
*If unsure, use a magnet. It sticks to steel, but not to aluminum |

Rinse thoroughly. No spray cans of
any kind. Be careful not to mix with aluminum cans!

Plastic Bottles (PETE#1) |
Look for PETE#1 designator on bottom
of container. Rinse & drain bottles.
*No tubs or trays. Please discard lids! |

Look for HDPE#2 on bottom of
container. Rinse and drain jugs.
Please discard lids! |

MUST have recycling symbol with 1 thru 7 on it. NO STYROFOAM. |

Office Paper |
No copy paper wrapping, hanging file
folders, blueprints or mustard colored envelopes.
Discard “non paper” inserts from junk mail. Staples

No carbon paper, blueprints, paper cups or plates, wet strength paper, waxed paper, napkins, tissue paper or paper towels, aseptic packages (drink boxes), or hard backed books |

Newspapers |
No plastic inserts or plastic sleeves. Please do not wrap with twine of tape |

Egg Cartons | Clean paperboard of plastic cartons OK for reuse. Flats and torn cartons go in with ‘Mixed Paper’ |
