WINTER HAPPENINGS

ONE THING WE KNOW FOR SURE...WINTER WEATHER HAPPENS!

During harsh winter weather conditions, we prioritize the safety of our recyclers and staff. Therefore, we may have to close our facility temporarily. As a general rule, if the Central Landfill is closed, so is the recycling center. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Inclement weather? Phone ahead to make sure we're open.

Do you know we have a bookstore onsite?

If you spend any time on FaceBook or Instagram, you've probably seen the video about our ReUsed Book Store, located inside the Office/Classroom area of the recycling center. It was posted by local realtor Martha Brookbank, who also serves on our board of directors! The video has gone "valley viral" and we have had more book shoppers than ever. Inventory changes weekly and we are open 6 days a week, so hurry in and find some good recycled reads at cheap prices! Our cat Glenn (pictured) likes to hang out in the biography section. He can't read, but he is good at welcoming book shoppers and visitors to the office/classroom/bookstore area, at the far end of the building.

WHERE DOES IT ALL GO?

WHAT HAPPENS TO IT AFTER WE RECYCLE IT?

If we accept it, it gets a new life. After collection it is baled and sent to manufacturers to make new products. Click below to see what your RECYCLING BECOMES.
